It is important that this information be distributed widely in order to make sure that our elected officials who have utilized these services to be publicly identified. Harboring these kinds of secrets makes public officials particularly vulnerable to blackmail. Once the secret becomes known, they cannot be nearly so effectively blackmailed and coerced into making official decisions and actions which are contrary to the public benefit.
